Welcome home

Today was an exciting day because I went home for the first time!

Dad and Noah came up to the hospital to help Mum pack up all our things. I had lots of lovely presents that needed to be carried down to the car.

And then it was time to carry me down to the car.

I'd never felt the outside air before, but it wasn't too cold so I didn't protest.

Mum was very careful when she strapped me into my car seat. She had no intention of pinching my little fingers the way she did with my big brother on his way home from hospital.

Having a big brother in the seat next to mine is going to be helpful. It was only a short trip home, but he pointed out a few landmarks and told me about his favourite song that we were listening to on the CD player.

That song is Hello Hurricane and I already know all about it, because I've been listening to it for the past nine months while I was on the 'inside'.

When we got home, I was given a tour of my new room and then I just slept. All day long!
